The Pricks (Sandvika, Norway) was formed in the autumn of 2017 and consists of Gert Aanje (vocals, guitar), Gråbb Hanssen (drums), Bog Randen (gitar), and Unni Bendigtsen (bass guitar). Their inspiration from the Classic British Rock movement and British Invasion gives their music a sound similar to that of the 60s and 70s, the golden age. In the music you will find hints of Supergrass, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Bob Hund, Suede, Motorpsycho, and The Beatles, among others. The Pricks play energetic rock music with a bit of melancholy and psychedelia mixed into their musical pot.

The band has played lots of concerts all over the country (Norway) at reputable venues such as John DEE, Musikkflekken, Kroa i Bø and Rockefeller. The Pricks has been a support act for several well-known artists, including Di Derre and Bernhoft in the period 2018-2019. In 2021, on the occasion of their release of "Bloody Nightlife", they went on a tour and played in several Norwegian cities, as well as Rome.

The Pricks have released 6 singles and 2 EPs, which are all available on streaming services.

Founding member and frontman Gert was born on May 11, 2001 in Oslo, Norway. In The Pricks he plays guitar and sings. He sees himself as a songwriter and performer rather than a technical guitarist and schooled singer.

Gert has been surrounded by music all his childhood with a father who is a musician and a family that loves Music. He started writing songs when he was 11 or 12 and has since been on a search for something more exciting than the boring ordinary world. So far, he has found music and Studio Ghibli.

He is also a big ass hypocrite chap.
